Alonka sturgeon are one of the many hybrid varieties they are a cross between a diamondback and a Siberian sturgeon. They grow very large and very quickly with the right food from New Orchard Fisheries. So require a pond of a minimum 2000 gallons except sterlets that are happy with 1000 gallons. Sturgeon are also very dependant on oxygen ( minimum of 6 mg/ per litre). For more information on Alonka sturgeons please view the dedicated page here. Splashtastic only offers collection only with any of our fish if you cannot travel to the midlands ( Leicestershire) but would love to own a sturgeon please feel free to contact New Orchard Fisheries as they have the facilities to post sturgeon by overnight courier.
