For the health and welfare of your sturgeon, like all fish they need the right food, vitamins and minerals. In this section we cover what we would call the best food on the market for your sturgeon. Depending on the size of your fish there are various pellet sizes available and although as accurate as possible, different batches of produced food will inevitably have a very minimal difference in levels that are stated below.
Sturgeon Starter Food
The starter would be the smallest available being the 2mm sinking pellets.
These pellets are suitable for small sturgeon under 6" long. Formulated as a complete food they are also a pleasant treat for Koi, other carp varieties, loach, tench, barbel and other bottom feeding fish.

Mature Specimen Sturgeon Food
Specially formulated for sturgeon, without using vegetable proteins, as sturgeon can't digest them, this is also an excellent food for other bottom feeding fish. Available in the following sizes 3mm, 6mm & 8mm sinking pellets, please refer to our size guide below for the right pellets for your fish.

All these foods contain only the best ingredients and all are GM free. They have a relative shelf life of 12 months if stored correctly. Keep in a cool dry place and preferably in an air tight container. Once opened all food will slowly over time lose the vitamin and mineral benefits if not stored correctly.
